Back at the warehouse

Today, I went back to work at the warehouse. I tried to work on one project, but was held up by a lack of information. I did get work done on the previous project. I also found a neat little clock while looking for a monitor for my new contractor.

After work, I went to Safeway and bought avocados, sandwich cheese, and pico de gallo for mixing with the avocado stuff I make. This grocery store experience was very good - first of all, there were enough cashiers so that there were no lines - in fact, they were often standing in front of their line, as I often did when there were fewer customers. Many employees said hello to me too. Finally, I didn't have to register with my personal information for one of the discount cards. I will most definitely return to that chain.

What is the name of the chain store? Copp's for a little while was not allowing the use of the store's card if the customer had one and forgot to bring it to the store. I suppose the idea was to get a true picture of the customes shopping habits. But shoppers just started sharing their cards with each other. And it was frustrating to the customers. So, once again the casher all have store cards.

It was Safeway - one of these days, I might post a little self-discussion about where I do my grocery shopping and why.
