Shopping

I did laundry today, then I did some shopping. First, I went to Whole Foods and took all that home. Then I went to the mall and got a few things I really needed. Lane Bryant was really, really disappointing. All of the shirts had sleeves that were way too short, or they required layering.
  1. My upper arms are not attractive - there is no way around this. Nobody wants to see them - I don't even want to see them.
  2. It is hot and layers do not work well in hot weather
  3. Short sleeves ride tight to the armpits, leading to the most important thing
  4. Fat people sweat more than skinny people, and they need clothing that hides the sweat
I've been highly disappointed with LB's "perfect T." It rides up way too close to my armpits and I end up with sweatmarks starting early in the day. That is NOT professional. You'd think that a fat chick store would know that fat women sweat. But if you look at their models, you'll see that they don't design for fat women, they design for size 12 to 14 - proportional, non-stick women. Not women with large arms, like me. I just hope that, as I work out, my upper arms will become presentable.

Anyway, after LB, I went to Bath & Body Works, then, of course, See's Candy - I just got a half pound this time, and some more chocolate balls. After not finding a slip in my size at Macy's I went to Target. At Target, I bought a vacuum - a cheap model to tide me over until I can get one of those robotic versions. I also bought a replacement pair of shoes for those shoes I bought back in february. I also finally bought a juicer. I opted for the $3 juicer as opposed to the $10 one, but the $10 came in the color I wanted... it was a tough decision, but in the end, I decided to be responsible.
