Today was slightly better, but since I couldn't talk with my boss until late in the day, and I learned some upsetting things, I was very down in the middle of the day. I went to the Horizons ice cream social and felt a little out of place, not to mention fat, but I did socialize a bit. I was reaquainted with a very charming girl I had met during my first week.
I did talk to my boss about taking vacation days on Friday and Tuesday, giving me a five day weekend, partially because I don't have projects. I decided that I would skip this DBT module this month and focus a little more on my work routine. In the evening, I cleaned up a bit and invited Brian over to hang out before everyone's day off.
