Odd Leadup

Today was an odd lead-up to a shitty few days, for whatever that means. I had lunch with some people I'd met and not met, and found myself not quite fitting in only because I didn't look like the rest of them. Then I came back to work, then I left to vent some ideas to a friend at dinner.
