Go Time?

Why do you build me up (build me up) Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down and mess me around
And then worst of all you never call, baby
When you say you will but I love you still
I need you more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up Buttercup, don't break my heart

"I'll be over at ten", you told me time and again
But you're late, I wait around and then
I run to the door, I can't take any more
It's not you, you let me down again

(Hey, hey, hey!) Baby, baby, try to find
(Hey, hey, hey!) A little time, and I'll make you happy
(Hey, hey, hey!) I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooo-oo-ooo, ooo-oo-ooo

Why do you build me up Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down and mess me around
And then worst of all you never call, baby
When you say you will but I love you still
I need you more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up Buttercup, don't break my heart

To you, I'm a toy but I could be the boy you adore
If you'd just let me know
Although you're untrue, I'm attracted to you all the more
Why do I need you so

(Hey, hey, hey!) Baby, baby, try to find
(Hey, hey, hey!) A little time and I'll make you happy
(Hey, hey, hey!) I'll be home
I'll be beside the phone waiting for you
Ooo-oo-ooo, ooo-oo-ooo

Why do you build me up Buttercup, baby
Just to let me down and mess me around
And then worst of all you never call, baby
When you say you will but I love you still
I need you more than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up Buttercup, don't break my heart

I-I-I need you-oo-oo more than anyone, baby
You know that I have from the start
So build me up Buttercup, don't break my heart
I got up around 6:40 or something, got ready, doing my ab and upper body exercises. I almost left the house without accessories, but didn't get further than two stiars down before I remembered, ran in, and grabbed the black hoops. I arrived at work nervous, and continued work. I had a computer mandated break at 11, so I decided to go get lunch. I had a spinach salad and flat bread. I ate about half of the salad and a bit of the bread before it was time for my appointment with my nutritionist. I spent the lunch thinking about my projects and what I could possibly do about them. Then I got up, put my fork away, and walked to the appropriate building. I saw a former New Employee Class classmate and we talked for a little bit. Then I was off to the fitness center. While there, I realized that I didn't have my salad box and I had no idea where I might have left it.

My appointment was good, I promised to update my food blog tonight, and then went back to work - but not before visiting with my friend R, on the second floor, to pick up some snack/energy/something bars he was sick of and offered to me. We talked about nutrition and other things, then I went back to work. I did work in the afternoon, and had a surprisingly productive day, despite not being able to bill as much as I would have liked to bill. Near the end of the day, events caused my heart to pound, sometimes if felt almost out of my chest, but also saw it from the other perspective. My co-worker made fun of my lack of action, and I went to the fitness center again. I saw G there, and lamented the surface details to him, and got on the elliptical to just burn through my frustration. I did about three and a half miles on that elliptical before moving to the one closer to the TV - Jeopardy was on. I worked out for another 15-20 minutes until the end of Jeopardy, then I told my trainer about my food blog and was off to get my bag and run to the AT&T store for the family phones.

I went into the parking lot as if I was going to Whole Foods - on auto-pilot, but drove over to the side of the strip mall, and went in. The employee that helped me before was there, and he noted that I wasn't wearing scrubs that day. I called home as he checked on what phones they had in stock, got the info from mom, and then he came back - there were no phones in stock! I'll call back tomorrow. I walked to Whole Foods. The seafood guy helped me select some sockeye salmon and told me how to cook it. Then I got some berries, egg whites, sampled some cheese, and then picked up some more bread. I drove home and heard an old favorite - reminding me at once of Red Dwarf, singing with my fellow travelers in the early Botswanan morning, and [censored]. When I got home, I started making dinner and listened to The Foundations a few times. After I got dinner ready, I turned on La Kalle and blogged.
