We need to start our computers at least once a month

Today I got to the park at 7:40 to get the surrogate laptop and started it up. After discovering a classmate's office in my building, getting coffee, talking a LOT with colleagues - all while waiting for the computer to perform updates, I went to Dublin and arrived at about 10:15.

I started up Boxy Brown because I also found out what the problem was yesterday - I didn't connect the computer to the network with a cable :face palm:. Thank goodness it was something simple, but I felt rather dumb.

Now, I thought that the surrogate machine took a while, but Boxy Brown had not been started in years [probably] and it had tons and tons and tons of updates to do. Eventually, I tired of the shenanigans, and had B use the surrogate for his modules.
